This is for a fully refurbished PowerMac G4 "Mirror Drive Doors" "MDD" 360 Watt power supply part number 614-0224 (Samsung model PSCF401601B). It has a 24 pin connector and will work in all MDD PowerMacs. It's a genuine Apple power supply. It is interchangeable with Apple part # 614-0183 (AcBel model API1PC36, and Samsung model PSCF401601A).

Don't buy a used power supply that may be on the verge of failure when you can buy one that's as good as new. You can expect this refurbished power supply to last for the remaining life of the computer.

I will buy back your old defective power supply, regardless of what's wrong with it. Just ship it to me using the included PRE-PAID FedEx label and I'll refund $30 to your Paypal account as soon as I receive the old power supply.

If you have more than one dead MDD power supply put them all in the box, and I'll give you a $30 credit for each one. Feel free to use a bigger box if you need to.

Is this the right power supply for my MDD Mac?

Yes, whether your Mac came with a Samsung, or AcBel power supply, this power supply is an exact replacement. The Samsung PSCF401601B is equivalent to the AcBel API1PC36, and the Samsung has the added bonus of having slightly quieter fans.

I have a 400W power supply, will a 360W work?

Yes, Apple used the 400W power supplies in early MDD Macs, but later replaced them with the quieter 360W version. A 360W power supply will have plenty of power for all MDD Macs, and will be quieter than the 400W.

Will a new power supply fix my Mac?

It's impossible to be sure without testing your old power supply, but most MDD failures are caused by the power supply. If the power supply doesn't fix the problem, simply return it within 90 days for a full refund (minus shipping).

Why should I buy a refurbished power supply from you instead of a cheaper used one?

Heat and time have taken their toll on a number of critical components. Even if a used power supply appears to be working, chances are it's rapidly approaching failure.

My power supplies have been thoroughly inspected, and all components that are likely to cause failure have been replaced (including some that still test good, but are known to cause problems). I only use top quality parts which are as good, or better than the original parts.

Warranty

It's guaranteed for 90 days from the time of purchase. This means that it's guaranteed to be as described upon arrival, and work properly for 90 days.

If it fails to work properly I will give the buyer a full refund (including shipping for US buyers only) after the item has been returned to me at the buyer's expense.

If you bought the wrong item, or just changed your mind, I will give you a full refund (minus my actual shipping cost, even if "free" shipping was provided) as soon as I receive the item in good working condition. I don't charge a restocking fee, I just ask that you reimburse me for my shipping expenses, and agree to cancel the ebay transaction.

If there's any possibility of shipping damage, contact me immediately to file an insurance claim.
