A MINT CONDITION MINIATURE MEDAL WITH RIBBON

The Silver Jubilee Medal was issued in 1977 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's ascension to the throne.

It was only issued to a limited number within each unit of the armed forces, who were meant to represent a cross-section of the personel within that unit. It was also issued to members of other emergency services.
