Today Up for Bid is One Rare R/C Car that has not been on Ebay for Years..I would say at least 10yrs. In the early 90's R/C or Remote control companies were in a huge I would say war to come out with great R/C Cars. At this time ( Around 1989-1991) you could spend $50 and still get a crapy R/C car from Toys R Us. During this time some companies came out with stuff that I think for the year was "Ahead of its Time" Tech. Even to this Day some of this stuff is not seen even to this day. The Car: Up for bid Today is one of those R/C cars that not only is rare but Ahead of its time. The car is a New Bright Chevy Caprice Hot Pursuit Police car. I would say on Ebay this car hasn't been up for auction in over 10yrs and when it was up for auction ( Im pretty sure there hasn't been One) It was not in working condition. I got one of these cars first when I was 7 in the early 90's then I got this one when I was in my late teens. When I first got this car it came in the box and mint....Overtime to save space the box was throw away and kept in a display case ( With my other 1000's of Model cars). I tried to run it every now and then to keep it in working condition. When NEW BRIGHT came out with this car..They made a great car that has Detail-- Looks just like a mini caprice, Quick - The car is no speed demon but it can move pretty good on carpet, Outside, and hardwood floors, And Lights- The light bar works but this car can easily be upgraded with LED's and other lights to make it look More Real. Condition: This car that is Up for Bid Is a Rare working car. I have uploaded a You Tube link by me (that I Made today Dec 31st 2013) showing that this car is working. But keep in mind this car is over 20 years old. The decals and paint are all there with nothing missing or damaged. With the body the only issue is the white paint on the car looks more tan than bright White. the remote is mint. The car works fine. sometimes you may have to press and slide the "On" button to get her going but thats it. Also the speaker works under the car but sounds sometimes blown when not speaking into it. Why This Car is Rare: This car has a walkie talkie built into it. which mean once you turn the walkie on you can drive this car in another room and talk to someone.....This New Bright Caprice is also famous...it was based on the Caprice used on the Chris farley movie "Black Sheep" Farley's Friend Robbies Police car and One Real New Bright Car similar to this one was also Used in the Movie "Striking Distance" Starring Bruce Willis and Sara Jessica Parker - The bad guy used a New Bright Police car and was talking threw the car to mess with Bruce Willis. This Car is Rare and was made in limited numbers and this car can be one of the Only cars that Still Run with no Mods.
