• As New / Mint: Crisp & bright with no defects and appears unread.  
• Fine: Shows very slight wear, but is without defects of any kind.
• Very Good: May have signs of wear, but no damage or serious defects of any kind.
• Good: Shows average wear. There may be some small tears or other defects, but item is in reasonably good shape.
• Fair: Significant wear. It may have ink marks or stamps, and may have missing endpapers or plates, but all text pages are intact.
• Poor: All text pages intact but very worn or grubby with serious scuffing or marking.
