This desoldering station has been maintained by myself since new. It has been well-used but is in good working order. The handpiece has been rebuilt from scratch and has a new glass chamber fitted, together with a brand-new Visifilter cartridge and ESD-safe silicon vacuum tube (not the grubby clear plastic one in the photo!). Please note that I cannot guarantee the life of the element, as I do not know how much use this one has had. New elements (and all other spares, tips, etc.)  are readily available from myself or other importers.

The price represents good value: a new replacement SX-70 handpiece costs well over £200, so you will be saving money even if you only want the handpiece and keep the power supply for spare.

Whilst these stations are easy to use, a certain amount of technique is required to get the best results, and there are a few points of good practice which will help with routine maintenance. Please ask if any advice is required: I have been maintaining and selling Pace products since the early 1980s!
