Nice handmade bobbin lace handkerchief, probably circa 1900, of Belgian lace -- not quite fine enough to be called “Point de Fee”, but certainly interesting Binche continuous bobbin lace and a worthy study piece.   Design appears to be a compilation of three joined edgings, worked as a continuous wide edging.

The seam is not finely done, but an interesting study piece as a comparison to other Binche and Point de Fee.

Lace about 2 1/2 inches deep, handkerchief about 10 inches overall.  Clean and ivory white.  Mint condition.
