Listing a selection of ghostly spirits, animated skeletons, and pirate booty. 

This listing is for one 1930s vintage Halloween diecut lantern. This dimensional lantern features different imagery on either side with dark silhouettes in front of rich orange and blue paper inserts. One side features a witch silhouette as she flies across the moon; below her a cat wails into the air. The other side features a cat on the top of an old fence. The cat is arched, with ears backward, and hisses into the night, as a bat passes across the full moon.  

Piece roughly 10 1/4" wide by 9" tall, and perhaps about 5" deep. No Marks. This is by Beistle.  

Fine vintage condition -- please see photos together with description notes. The black surface is a dark satin black with minimal surface rubs. There is a pencil mark of ".15". The waxy insert has richly deep colors of orange and black, and are very clean on the inside. There are some dark rubs visible on the orange color. No wire. NOTE - the bottom notch-tab is weak and will need some reinforcement likely before further usage. The oval bottom is commonly missing (so that piece is not original but works fine).
