"White Lily" Bernadette by Sofie Doll
One of a kind handcrafted porcelain ball jointed doll

My name is Sofia Mityaeva. Let me introduce my latest creation "White Lily" Bernadette.
This ball jointed, porcelain doll is one of a kind, made and sold by artist.

About doll:

Bernadette is a 12.5" (32 cm) tall ball jointed doll. She has 16 points of articulation for proper posing, playing and dressing. The doll is assembled with an elastic cord and the joints are lined with leather for constant movement.

Bernadette is made of finest porcelain and painted and blushed with china paint which is fired at a high temperature and is "burnt-in" in the porcelain. China paint will never fade and will not darken. The doll is painted by hand and has painted freckles and birthmarks on her face and body.

Bernadette's outfit, shoes and wig are made by hand. Only natural materials are used.
The outfit includes seven pieces for creating various looks. It includes an upper skirt, richly embroidered, made of thin but solid shiny silk. Two underskirts, a long and a short ones, are made of thinnest and lightest translucent silk. The shoes are made of natural leather. Stocking is made of 100% cotton.
Outfit, shoes, stocking and headband are embroidered with French cotton lace and Japanese beads. 
The wig is made of natural mohair on a hot glue cap, which fits perfectly on the doll's head. It can be brushed and styled like human hair, but hight temperature styling is not recommended.
Bernadette wears non-removable Sterling silver earrings inlaid with artificial agates and marcasites.

The doll is one of a kind. The doll design, the face painting and the outfit will never be repeated.
