Guys, please note, there is a few different specifications of the 'RACETECH' 52mm gauge. You get what you pay for as always, I only carry the high end gauges that have ALL the functions (Like adjustable warning, sounds on/off, recall of highest temp etc) - There is also the simpler types that I DO NOT SELL that DO NOT WARN YOU if you are exceeding your temps. Most are made for PETROL cars too, so any preset warning temps DO NOT APPLY to diesel. Buy from a trusted source, these are the REAL DEAL and are not CHEAP AND NASTY. Money back satisfaction with all my parts!
Be weary of cheap Chinese imitation gauges aswell. Racetech's are MADE IN TAIWAN - The QUALITY electronics manufacturing hub of the world. These are the real deal, with full warranty and quality tested 3 times before leaving the factory.

EGT PYRO GAUGE (left hand side gauge only) with the following features:
-52mm display face
-Full face visual alarm system with optional audio alarm (Allows you to keep your eyes on the track and an audio alarm will sound if it is over your preset temperature)
-Temp range reading of 0 deg C to 1200 deg C (With display from 200 deg to 1200 deg)
-The alarm setting can be set at any point from 200 deg to 1200 deg.

The gauge can be interconnected within 5 seconds to any other gauges for power sharing. This means only one gauge needs to be hard wired to power and others can inter-connect to that gauge to share power.
Warranty:
These gauges come with FULL WARRANTY. Forget about overseas sellers, it will cost you more in postage than anything. I am available 7am through until 7pm everyday on the phone, most issues with installs are from incorrect wiring, I always recommend a multimeter be used. Some other national sellers also do not offer sufficient warranty and claim 'user error' and then sting the customers for more costs when the product is in their hands, leaving their customers with no choice but to pay for new parts! I do not operate my business in this way and unless there is obvious tampering with the gauge or misuse (I know what hell these rigs go through and I expect yours to be no different - So I will not void your warranty if used in racing) then I will claim warranty from the manufacturer within 6 months of purchase.
Warranty notice: In November there was a whole batch of faulty gauges sent out to un-knowing customers worldwide. All my customers got EXPRESS new parts to replace the faulty parts NO QUESTIONS ASKED and FREE OF CHARGE. Others who did purchase from overseas were not so lucky, ~$25-35 per gauge for postage back to the seller and then ~4 weeks later they got their replacements. I do not operate in weeks, I operate in HOURS. So if a fault is found, you will have a replacement ready to go within 12 hours (Usual circumstance).
Other gauges:
If you want to also purchase a boost gauge to match, just ask, the additional costs for a boost gauge is $85 (No extra postage)
For an oil pressure gauge to match, it is $95. (No extra postage charge)
(Unfortunately the EGT's come with the most expensive sensors due to the extreme operating temps they have to deal with.)
Any other gauges just ask! (Water temp, oil temp, trans temp, A/F, volt, tacho etc)
Buy them from the original importer that understands these gauges like no other, there are many knock-offs of the same gauge floating around on ebay and the like.

I have been getting LOTS of positive feedback with these EGT gauges, the most comforting being that a known diesel tech tuner says 'It is the most accurate pyro gauge I have ever seen in a customers car' compared to his dyno setup. That means that guys who are spending $250 + on an EGT are getting less accuracy than with this alternate! People have been spending too much on EGT's, the monopoly is over guys... Time to keep them motors safe! The ONLY problems I have had with one of these on warranty is a loose wire in the sensor! That's with over 200 of these EGT gauges sold... (Who knows, customer may have been rough with the install? But he got a new sensor anyway!)
The other problem I had with these gauges was a faulty batch of gauge displays as stated above in red, these were all reconciled with the owners using express postage for new gauge displays - NO QUESTIONS ASKED. (Batch from Nov.2011). This was a worldwide problem due to an electronic component being out of tolerance on the circuit boards.
The other common positive feedback I also get is that the gauge reads very quickly and guys with their 4.2's are loving the audio sensor! Even in those stupidly loud trucks, they can hear it when they hit their preset temp (Usually around 500 degrees!).

Please note that the temperature probe is a metal tube, filled with ceramic compound. I replaced one of these on good will for a customer when he thought 'its a bendy metal thingy'. The only flexible part is the wiring aft of the sensor (It has a sprung stainless case to allow for twists/bends etc). The sensor has 1 x 90 Degree bend in it which is to allow for a flush fitting (which can swing 360 degrees)
Also, please ensure electronic plugs are pushed in firmly. Allow them to click into place. I maybe get one bloke in every 20 sending a gauge back, from about 200+ gauges now sold, I have seen 1 GENUINE manufacturing fault (Corrected: Also a batch of faulty displays in Nov.2011) and a handful of 'installation mistakes' - WHICH I'VE REPLACED FOR THE CUSTOMER REGARDLESS.
Also, the BOOST gauges that are sometimes paired with this EGT - They do not need calibration! Some genius forgot that if you're in the alpine country, you actually loose atmospheric pressure!
At about 15 deg and 510 meters of elevation above sea level, the gauge will read -1 psi while the motor is not running (instead of ZERO at sea level). This is completely normal due to lower atmospheric pressure. You will not find an ABSOLUTE PRESSURE gauge for general automotives. (Luckily for us, as we drive into the alpine areas, the air density also increases due to lower temp, so effectively you'd probably need to be around 800 meters to see -1 psi --- If you do not understand why try: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atmospheric_pressure )

PLEASE ALSO NOTE PROCEDURE FOR DISABLING AUDIO ALARM:
1.Hold button down on face of gauge.
2.Start gauge up, allow it to finish its start up sweep and commence normal operation.
3.Let go of button.
Bang done.
This will only work if you have WIRED THE GAUGE CORRECTLY. The gauge needs +12v Constant to the red wire to retain memory of your warning preset and the audio alarm on/off preset. Otherwise the gauge will start in default settings everytime.
