The condition of this computer is unheard of! You just can't find a KIM-1 that is complete nowadays. For serious collectors and enthusiasts.

This is a KIM-1 training kit put together by General Electric Electronics Lab circa 1979 and purchased at an employee surplus equipment sale, by my father. He worked in the lab and is the original/only owner. It contains a KIM-1 board, power supply (110V AC input), mic and earphone connections, connector for teletype. The board has not been removed since the kit was originally built, and I have not attempted to lift it to take a front side picture because I don't have proper ESD precautions. It has not been powered up in over 30 years and I have not attempted to do so because I would expect that the electrolytic's have dried out, so functionality cannot be guaranteed. It comes with five manuals: programming manual, KIM-1 user manual, hardware manual, first book of KIM, and KIM hints. Some pages are loose in the user manual, and one sheet is missing (pp 31 & 32). There is minor damage to the case which happened during our move.

This item is being sold AS IS. It is a collectors item. Please, do NOT try to power it up unless you have taken the necessary precautions, safety measures, and are equipped with the knowledge to do so. Doing so could result in irreversible damage to it.
