Hello all of you mummies and daddies. This hammock was designed by my friend for her baby. She also makes them until today (The baby already goes to school). She was just not satisfied with anything else she found in the baby shops and decided to saw her dream cradle herself.

So she made this cradle very big, the wooden frame is 100*70cm = 27.6*39.4inch. and the inner bottom stitch is 18.9*34.1inch = 50*85cm. The newborns usually sink in the bottom and bigger babies (3 month old even) can play and move if they are not too tired. That's the time to adjust the height of the cradle nearly to the floor so the baby can swing and still be safe. Around the age of one year the cradle becomes the cosy private corner of the toddler, like a little playground in the house. She realy didn't think of all that when she designed the cradle but this is what we saw in reality throughout the years.

The cradle hangs from one point in the ceiling so it can move to all directions giving your child a varied point of view on the world. It's very strong and can hold up to 20Kg. Made of strong natural substances as wood and drill cotton this is the fabric they used to make tents from, very strong.
