Description

I bought this Thatcher's milk bottle at an estate sale.

It comes with the original ceramic stopper, although the insulating pad attached to it has dried out and is cracked in places.

On one side of the bottle it says, THATCHER'S DAIRY BOTTLE PATENT 1884 ONE QUART. On the other side is a milking scene, above which are the words ABSOLUTELY PURE MILK.

On the bottom is a large C within a circle. Surrounding that are the words CROWNFORD CHINA CO 1965. Along the bottom edge are the words BOTTLE MADE IN ITALY.

Not including the stopper, the bottle is 10" high with a bottom diameter of 3 3/4".

There are no cracks or chips on the glass.

Please note that we do not charge a handling fee. Postage rates are high enough. You pay only what the post office charges for shipping.

In addition, if you purchase multiple items from my store I will do my best to combine your purchases into one box in order to minimize shipping charges.

Terms of Sale

All items are described to the best of our ability. We sell many unique items and are not experts on any of them. Any error found in a listing is unintentional and will be cheerfully dealt with on an individual basis.

Any item purchased can be returned with 14 days of receipt if it is returned in the same condition in which it was sent and using the same method of shipment. The buyer will be reimbursed only for the cost of the item. Postage cost will not be reimbursed.
