The piece that is pictured in this listing is the piece you will recieve This gorgeous hollow stump has a nice shape and great curved unique appearance, nice artistic lines. It measures approximately 12" X 3 1/2" X 3 1/2" at widest parts. It will not sink in water, you will need to weight it down if used in an aquarium or some of our customers have successfully boiled pieces to get them to sink. We try to only select the best pieces and the driftwood we pick up is clean and "sand polished" but we are in no way experts on driftwood. We do know how to answer questions honestly so please don't hesitate to ask if you have any concerns. We wash each piece and let it sun dry and we try our best to accurately describe each listing, we will give you an idea if they are heavy or lightweight and the measurements. Some of the pieces sink in water at the time of listing and others will not which makes a difference in aquarium use or taxidermy / reptile use so we will be happy to answer any specific questions you have about an item for your particular use. We will be happy to test the piece in water on request to see if it sinks before purchase The Rosewood manor is located by the Coldwater Creek in the Blackwater River State Forest in Northwest Florida, all our driftwood is collected from a 5 mile stretch of the Coldwater Creek which is a clean shallow creek in the middle of the forest with white sand bars and gravel bottom surrounded by magnificent Cypress, Cedar and Pine trees. Our section of Coldwater Creek is situated in a remote area that has very few visitors so we are able to pass on to our customers beautiful pieces of driftwood that are the pick of the creek. Each piece of Driftwood is carefully washed and sun dried then carefully packed for shipping.We will combine shipping on multiple purchases when possible (some larger pieces cannot be combined). A COUPLE OF SMALLER PIECES CAN BE ADDED TOGETHER WITH A LARGER PIECE WITHOUT INCREASING THE SHIPPING COST SO ADD A FEW MORE PIECES TO YOU ORDER AND GET MORE FOR YOUR SHIPPING VALUE. SHIPPING Shipping is calculated by weight of the items delivered to your zip code and size of the box it is shipped in. We have found that the cost varies alot depending on size, weight and zip code so look at all the options we make available for shipping before paying. You may choose either Priority Mail, Parcel Post or in some cases UPS for shipping.-Priority Mail is delivered in 2-3 days, Parcel post takes up to 2 weeks for delivery and UPS ground takes about a week.
