The Antique 14K white gold pin is absolutely stunning. The rectangular 2 x 1 inch handmade filigree setting weighs 10 grams. This is a quality piece one of the prettiest pins I’ve ever seen. There is 1/3 carats of emeralds and 1/3 carat of diamonds. In 1996 the appraised value was $2706. The center diamond is VS1 H color and is .20 points. There are 6 single cuts, two .03 and four .01. There are 29 1mm square emeralds. The color and clarity is amazing. However 1 stone is missing. With a loupe I can see a replacement stone. It is much lighter in color. With that said to the naked eye you don’t notice it. This dates in-between 1900 to the early 1920’s. I will include the appraisal but for insurance purposes you might consider a new appraisal. If I'm not mistaken gold was selling for around $300 an ounce. The appraisal has several items listed and the pin is on page 2. The other items have gone to other family members.
