Shipping Policy

We offer United Postal Services (UPS) and United States Postal Services (USPS) as our two shipping options. However, the choice of carrier is based on the final shipment weight.

Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on the method of shipping you select, the address that the package is being sent to, and the number of items in your shopping cart combined with the total weight and dimensions required to ship your order.

For all off-season orders, we anticipate a processing time of 1 business day for both domestic and international shipments. This means that your order will leave our warehouse within 1 business day after it is placed. Express shipments will be shipped out the same day only if payment is received before 1pm (Pacific Time) that business day. Do note that orders placed during the month of October may experience a longer processing time due to a high volume of orders.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

Delivery time for most international orders takes about 6 to 10 business days. However, this estimation does not include the time required for your package to clear customs at your country’s borders. Customs-related delays are out of our control and Pure Costumes do not guarantee delivery date for all international orders.

We only offer USPS Priority Mail for all international orders. This will allow us to track and locate your package once it leaves our warehouse. We do not offer USPS First Class International Mail.
UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

Occasionally, packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When this happens, we issue a refund less shipping charges. Additionally, if the package was refused, we will also assess a 20% restocking fee. We are unable to reship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you still wish to purchase items, you will have to place a new order.

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

When your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a shipment confirmation email. In this email, we will also include a tracking number. This tracking number can be used to track your order at the UPS or USPS website. You may also track your order by logging on to your eBay account.

Returns and Exchanges Policy

Please be sure to review our policy below before processing a return or exchange. If you have any questions, please contact us.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

All returns and exchanges require a Return Authorization (RA) Number. You have 14 days to contact us to obtain the RA number and ship out the item(s) to qualify for a return or exchange. Any order exceeding this timeline will be considered final sale. All parts of the product must be in returned, unworn, unused, and in original packaging.

Refunds are for the price of the merchandise only and we do not refund any shipping charges.

For International orders the same applies, no duties, taxes or customs fees are refunded under any circumstance.

We do NOT accept returns or exchanges on the following:

·         Wigs, masks and facial hair

·         Pet costumes

·         Makeup and costume accessories

·         Lingerie and hosiery

·         Shoes and boots

Halloween Exclusion Dates: Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, all orders placed between October 13th and November 3rd are considered FINAL SALE. This means that they may not be returned or exchanged.

RETURNS FOR FULL REFUNDS

·         Items being returned MUST be in their original, unused condition and in their original packaging.

·         We do not accept returns on worn merchandise.

·         All returns accompanied by the original invoice will be refunded for the full amount of the merchandise and sales tax ONLY. We do not issue refunds for shipping or handling charges for either direction.

·         Refunds are issued on the credit card account number or bank account used to make the original purchase. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

·         While it usually takes only about 1 week to process a return, it can take up to 3 weeks during our busy season in October.

RETURNS FOR EXCHANGES

Exchanges are handled as returns with a repurchase. This means that you will need to place another order on our store for your new item(s). We will process this as a separate order and will issue you a refund for the first order once we have processed the return.

RESTOCKING FEES

Restocking fees are calculated based on 20% of the full amount of the merchandise. Shipping & handling fees are not included. You will be charged a restocking fee if:

·         We receive refused or undeliverable packages.

·         Items are returned without a RA Number.

·         You exceed the 14-day timeframe in obtaining an RA number.

·         Packages are post-marked after 5 days from our issuing you an RA number.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, contact us within 14 days for a return or exchange. Once negative feedback is left, there is nothing we can do to resolve the issue.
