Post-Broadway playbill for JOHN BARRYMORE in BELIEVE ME, XANTIPPE, from the show's stand at the Majestic Theatre in Boston.  With Katherine Harris (Barrymore's wife at the time), Henry Hull, Alonzo Price, M. Tello Webb, Herbert Russell, Ted La Due. Harry Bender, Mary Young, and Alpha Byers.  Comedy in four acts was by Frederick Ballard.  "Produced uner the direction of Mr. John Craig."  Presented by William A. Brady, Inc.  The show played 79 performances on Broadway, first at the 39th Street Theatre, and playing the tail-end of the run at the Comedy.

A half-page ad for the now-forgotten Jackson automobile is the most intriguing of the period advertisements.  (See image four.)

Playbill is in good condition.  Shows some age darkening.  Rougness on spine.  Someone has pierced two straight pins through the back cover, lightly marring the Chickering Pianos ad.
