A vintage WW1 sighting telescope made by W. Watson & Sons of London in 1917.

This is the Sighting Telescope No 4, MK III, serial number 8152 with the crows foot mark indicating military issue. This does not have a leather cover of any kind. Condition is as follows.

Brass Body

Brass body is clean, but does have some scuffing and tarnish and some pitting. Telescope has an extending sunshade.

Optics

The lenses appear all present and complete with no cracks or chips. Telescope is usable, but dust spotting can be seen when looking through the telescope. There is no distortion / haziness that would indicate lens damage. Would benefit from a good clean internally by someone who knows what they're doing.
