Very Rare White Label Promo DJ Copy 7-inch 45rpm record of  Led Zeppelin's  "Stairway To Heaven"  in Rare Picture Sleeve, protected by a clear plastic outer sleeve for shipping. This was released to American radio stations in 1972.
Includes Rare Mono mix of the full-length song on one side, as well as the regular stereo mix on the other.  The "run-off groove" at the end of each side of the record has the numbers "1-1"  and the letters  'SP' and  'AT'  etched in it.

The very hard-to-find Mono mix play-grades Excellent with minor surface noise underneath the quiet parts of the music that doesn't interfere with listening. The run-off groove at the end of the song has the number PR-22401-1  etched in it.

The Stereo mix play-grades Very Good Plus (VG+) with surface noise occasionally noticeable during the quiet parts of the music. ST-PR-22401-1  is etched in the run-off groove at the end of the song.
The visual grade is Excellent, with only some minor light paper-scuff marks visible.

These 2 mixes of  "Stairway To Heaven"  are impressively crisp-sounding with sharper separation of drums and bass than on my copy of  the "Led Zeppelin IV"  album that I bought in the 1980's.

Label-grade is Near-Mint. The white labels are perfectly clean and clear of any marks or visible flaws on both sides.
Note: Dim lighting makes the white labels look darker than they actually are.
**Record will be shipped in a brand new polybag sleeve.**

The picture sleeve is stamped with the date "JUL 26 1972" (perhaps the date it was mailed out to radio stations by the record company ?) and is graded VG, with creasing, a couple of small half-inch tears at top opening, a 2-inch split at top right of front cover, minor discoloration and ringwear, and a price written in marker at top right of front cover. ..........The back of the picture sleeve is a reproduction of the cover of the Led Zeppelin IV album -- it has some creasing and minor staining on the edges, but no writing.

**Sound-clips of both songs in their entirety are available upon request.**   Contact me through eBay's 'contact seller' link.

All vinyl records are play-graded on a professional model Technics SL1200-MK2 turntable.
