ROLLEIFLEX 2,8 F 12/24 with PLANAR, THIRD VERSION. (PR - 168/1B).
The Rolleiflex 2.8F is manufactured by the brand Franke & Heidecke with the developped F - stops correction wheel at the left side of the body. This option is for the usage of filters with a correction - factor of 0 up to 3. But you also can use this wheel for changing of the diaphragm - setting as given by the built - in exposure - meter to affect the image you want to make.
The camera, we have for sale in this auction, is the THIRD VERSION of the Rolleiflex 2.8F - cameramodels. This means :
- The pressure plate in the back - door has 2 formats settings for :
6 x 6 cm (2 1/4" x 2 1/4") and 24 x 36 mm (1" x 1 1/2").
- You can at the outside of the camera - body right of the transport - handle this camera has the option for the usage of the 120 - or 220 - rollfilms (12 or 24 pictures). At this right side there is the switching counting knob for making 12 or 24 exposures with the usage of 120 or 220 rollfilm.

Items produced : 75.000 cameras are produced with the Carl Zeiss Planar, but of this THIRD version only 25.000 items are manufactured with the usage of both (Planar or Xenotar) as taking lens. With the 12/24 - option at the right side of the body, there were produced more less items of course.
CONDITION
Glass of the lenses : No fungus, haze or separation. Of course there can be some dust spots between the glass elements. As you know between those elements the leaves of the aperture blades are moving, but that will not give any problem for the quality of your pictures.
Shutter : Working normal.
Selftimer : Working normal.
Transport of the rollfilm : Working normal.
Focusing : Working normal.
Exposure - meter : Working normal.
Cosmetical estate : You will see in the uploaded images, that this body shows hardly signs of usage. Only at the removable folding viewing hood you will find that the camera is used by the former owner with the usage of the leather case.
