Item Description:

A single side plate (2 available) in a rare pattern made by Royal Grafton - as AB Jones and sons. We also have, lots of other items in the SAME pattern (INCLUDING another 10 side plates without crazing). Would make a very special wedding setting or even gift. 

Detail: Each item measures 20cm, with a gold / gilt trim. There is a bright, delightful colourful design featuring vines of fruit and colourful exotic birds (perhaps parrots?). Colours include a white china base, orange, red, blue, yellow, brown (branches) and green leaves. 

Pattern: Stamp denotes manufacture was between 1900-13. Researching this pattern has not been easy. We trawled all international EBay searches, 20 pages of Google images and 4 major china sites. After an hour of searching we can only conclude this to be a rare pattern - we did not find another the same on the internet WORLDWIDE. So sorry, we do not know the pattern name but the pattern number is 4581-4 (which also yielded no results).

Item Condition:

A VERY crazed condition, the crazing clearly covers most of the plate. Otherwise in overall fair antique condition. (We do have some others in a better condition). No chips, no cracks & very little or no rubbing to the gilt. Some of the fine colour detail may be slightly faded. When you run your finger around the rim there are the odd gilt bubbles present at manufacture. As well as the usual photos, we have included some high resolution images below please inspect closely for condition before buying.

For parcels we now use a courier for UK deliveries as they include full tracking at a competitive price and there are no awkward size limitations.
