This set has been created by a wonderful Russian  Artist -  Porcelain painter Galina Gorbaneva at the studio of Association of Artists “Etude”,which provides training and employment for artists with disabilities, and where she is the leading designer, painter and  mentor.

It took about 2 years to complete this set.   Incredibly fine detail and  superb execution that  cannot be achieved  without the use of a microscope.   This  in turn  requires special training and technique,  and a rare artist possesses this skill.  The vivid  colors, details of painting   are so  fine and amazing. Very labor intensive, it also requires  multiple firings at high temperatures of 800 degrees Celsius , that   make the enamels virtually  everlasting.

The scenes of Russian life of the days gone by, Princes, Knights and Russian Beauties, Troikas, Peasants and Fairy Tale motifs are painted with great detail and skill  in the technique of  overglaze miniature painting on finest bone china ( blanks of Imperial Porcelain Manufactury, formerly Lomonosov) .
