We are a completely volunteer run organization whose purpose is to rescue animals out of overcrowded shelters where they are at risk for disease and euthanasia. The animals are fostered in volunteer foster homes where we can keep them loved, healthy, and socialized until they can be placed in permanent, loving homes. Our hope is that all the animals placed through our organization will never experience being homeless or unloved again. Donations help with the cost of rescue which includes; shelter fees, medications, spay/neuter, all shots, heartworm testing and treatment, monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, microchips, dentals, surgeries, skin treatments, and any other -health care deemed necessary by our vets. Our vets offer reduced charges so that we can keep our adoption fees reasonable, but their services are not free. We often rely on extra donations to pay expenses when the cost of care exceeds a realistic adoption fee. No members or volunteers are paid in any way from donations.
