Nice original finish oak hall mirror or rack for hanging coats,keys,hats,etc. This piece measures 23 In. wide X 17 " high. It will mount extending about 1 1/2" off the wall. The 3 bentwood hooks on the bottom of the rack will swing out to be 5" out from the wall where mounted. The whole piece weighs about 3 lbs. The ends of the oak posts are trimmed with a lovely brass acorn shaped finials,and there is a brass collar fitted at all the joints of the larger oak joints. Each of these brass joint caps are stamped with a pat'd. date.....7-25-'93. There are two small brass hooks on either side of the mirror...which I believe to be replacements,as there is a faint sign of a brass collar outline at these areas. There was probably a larger hook here at one time. These replacement hooks are a very nice"tree bark" etched solid brass....which complement this piece very well(see closeup). The mirror appears to be original, if not it is antique of the same vintage...a heavy 1/4" plate glass....showing some minor de-silvering ..(small spots)..but fully functional as -is.A well designed original finish piece of victorian oak which will complement any victorian /arts% crafts or modern decorating scheme. Great in the hallway,on the back of a door in the bedroom, in the den ,gameroom or even in the bathroom for hanging towels. This piece is being offered with NO RESERVE!!!!!!
