But if a screw strips, you can saw a groove on top of the screw and unscrew it with a flat screwdriver:) If you grind off the tip of your screwdriver, it will get a better grip and not slip. With the correct size philips screwdriver, you will be fine. -Refit the HDD cover, turn on the ignition, push "eject" button, lean back and watch your Avic unit upgrade itself! -Visit pioneer online and read about CNDV-1000HD to find out details about the upgrade. -Start ripping up to 250 CDs -Will not affect your two wire bypass (all European Pioneer Avic units can retain full functionality if you ground the light green parking brake wire) Important to know: -There is no working speed camera solution for the Avic HD series. Pioneer gave it up years ago. -"Driver´s View 3D" mode (only applies to HD1BT/HD3/HD3BT) will not be available after this upgrade, it was removed from the software by Pioneer after 2007. -Your old music library will remain on your original hard drive. -If you have a very large music library, you can copy the entire contents of the music partition on to the new drive. Ask me for details. -There are only two ways of adding music to the hard drive library. The method above, and inserting single music CDs one by one. If you need a USB adaptor or a USB enclosure for copying music, I have these in stock. -The music library is stored in the units own format, that is why we can´t add MP3 files manually. *I can transfer your music and/or reimage your original drive for you at a reasonable cost. If you want me to copy the music, please remember to write it on a note together with the hard drive you send me. -All hard drives sold are new or refurbished, and have only been imaged with the software/maps. -Contact after purchase if you want to send back your old drive after upgrading, for a 30GBP refund. Will send replacement or give refund if DOA. |
