DISCUSSION: A survey of Eskimo sculpture from Canada’s eastern Arctic. The author was a noted artist and art scholar who studied Eskimo sculpture for many years and traveled extensively, meeting with the sculptors. The black & white photographs beautifully show the pieces, each of which is described. English/French text.

DESCRIPTION: Hardcover. 11”x9.5”, 224 pages, black & white and color illustrations, dust jacket.

CONDITION NOTES: Jacket worn and with some tears -please see the photos. Otherwise a little light soil, but contents clean and nice.
