What is "Rhodium"?
A member of the platinum group, rhodium is a shiny white metal that is highly reflective, durable, and expensive. It is used to increase luster, eliminate tarnishing and corrosion. It makes the silver resistant to scratching and abrasion.Because rhodium is a "noble metal" and inert, it withstands corrosion and makes jewelry more durable as well. When the rhodium plating is applied, it makes the ring more attractive and reflective.
How to clean and take care of rhodium plated jewelry?
For regular cleaning, it is recommended to use a soft 100% cotton cloth. DO NOT use silver liquid cleaner to clean rhodium plated jewelry because it's too harsh and can dull and harm rhodium plating. Never use harsh and rough ingredients on your jewelry as it will scratch and damage the piece. It is also strongly recommended to take off your rhodium plated jewelry when you put on hairspray, wash your hands, shower and swim. Bleach, ammonia, or chlorine is to be avoided at all cost. The damage they can cause is irreversible. The stone itself may not be damaged but the delicate metal around the stone can be destroyed. If the debris on the CZ jewelry will not come off with a normal soak and cleaning, do not use any of these chemicals to remove it. You will need to have a professional jeweler clean it for you.
Storage
It is strongly advised that you store your silver jewelry in dry and air-tight when not wearing them. Store your sterling silver jewelry in a dark, cool place away from direct sunlight or other sources of extreme heat such as radiators. A perfect place is in a jewelry box. For best results, place the items in a sealed, airtight plastic bag or jeweler's sulfur-free tissue prior to boxing and wrapping.
The Dos' & Don'ts
Always take your sterling silver jewelry off before applying suntan lotion, skin creams, and swimming in chlorinated or salt water. Never wear your jewelry when working with detergents, bleaches, ammonia or alcohols; these chemicals will cause discoloration, damage and loosen any gemstones.

Cubic Zirconia/CZ stone is approximately 1.75 times heavier than real diamond stone. CZ's size is referred to in carats only as in comparison to diamonds. We understand that many people are familiar with diamond weight, that's why our rings are measured in diamond equivalent carat weight. CZ is more accurately measured in millimeters, referring to the diameter.
