BEATLES LUNCHBOX AND THERMOS SET

In 1964, the Fab 4 led the British invasion in America by way of The Ed Sullivan Show. A year later, the Lads from Liverpool invaded the cafeterias of elementary and junior high schools all across our nation by way of these lovely lunchbox and thermos sets manufactured by Aladdin Industries.
We wanted our pictures to provide you with detailed views of our item. For a lunchbox and thermos set that is 47 years old, we believe our item to be in very good to excellent condition. There is normal wear and tear along the ridges of the lunchbox's exterior. On the inside of the box, there are a couple of small areas that exhibit rust and wear. Also, there are a few "freckled" spots in the interior. Again, keep in mind that these articles were used by moms and children every weekday, nine months out of each year. Our item was one of those well-used conveniences, not something squirreled away under glass by a collector. In that perspective, the normal and expected imperfections do not detract from the core integrity of the item and may even serve to add to its vintage authenticity.
The lunchbox measures approximately 7-7/8" long by 6-3/4" wide (7-1/2" if you count the handle) x 3-3/4" deep. The thermos stands about 6-1/2" tall and has a diameter of approximately 3-1/8".
The basic color of the set is baby or powder blue. The graphics are excellent, and the signatures on the top and side panels of the lunchbox, as well as on the thermos panel, are clear and legible.
