beautifully figured cocobolo rosewood(dalbergia retusa) guitar set  . This is an extremely fine set. with extremely fine vertical grain.. NIce vertical grain with great colors and darker ink lines. Look at the expanded photos. This set looks brck red color with black ink lines/landsacape. Will make a fine instrument.

 Backs 8.7 to 7.4 wide, 33 long sawn to approximately 0.125+(unsanded), Sides, 33 long, 5.2 inches wide, sawn to approximately 0.125+(unsanded) thick. some of the pcs are thicker, 125 is the minimum thckness, the pcs are sawn very cleanly.

pcs were  not wetted -waxy woods like this are difficult to ohoto because of the reflections.

Extremely fine grained, expand the picasa picture below to see this grain/color. The sides match the backs almost perfectly since they are cut from the exact same billet.
