Very rare Audi coupe 2144cc 5 cylinder
Before reading remember this car is 30 years old and has done 340,000 miles! This car was in daily use before it came to me a couple of weeks ago, the owner had bought a new car so had no use for the Audi any more. Its now a classic car but is in very used condition, pretty much everywhere on the car shows signs of wear and tear and it would need a lot of work to make into a show car, however it would make a great rat look car or just leave it as it is. The interior is very worn especially the seats, we have given it a clean but would probably clean up better with a good valet, most of the switches and gauges work as they should, oil pressure gauge doesn't work but the important ones do. The body work has some small dings on most panels and light rust around the arches but not that bad its still a solid car. The engine was replaced last year it runs and drives fine but is a little hesitant after 4000 rpm, could do with a service and fuel filter but it is usable, the clutch, gearbox and brakes etc all seem fine, it actually drives very well for its age. Here's a list of faults i have found. Passenger outer door handle broken still opens from inside, new handle comes with the car No front bumper but the car comes with one to be fitted in good condition Needs a tyre for the other gold wheel not fitted but is in the boot There's probably more but with a car of this age i think its best to come see/drive for yourself Its a rare find and still has mot till mid October so if taxed could be driven away Very unusual number plate A999 ONO believed to be the original plate and has been valued at £500+ Logbook and mot cert present, full receipt given as spares or repair as this car will probably need a little work (mentioned above) to pass the next mot Viewing very welcome, open to sensible offers, cash on collection only No time wasters please Any questions 07875533538 GVS Engine now seems to be running fine after 4000 revs and it pulls hard and sounds great, could probably still do with a service, and please no offers under £500 i could sell the plate for more than that Thanks for looking |
