Comments from breeder Matt Pedersen:
"Other than a spot at the base of the tail on both sides, this fish has almost no discernable markings to differentiate it from other white stripe maroon clownfish. It’s an OK fish, but not without a couple flaws. First is the dorsal fin. From examining the pictures, I cannot tell whether this is simply a split that is healing, or a missing spine in the dorsal fin. I suspect the former, but can’t say for certain. The shape of the face is not without issues as well. So much of the facial issues could be tied to a rearing issue in terms of environment / diet, or face-to-face combat among young offspring.
Ordinarily, a fish like this would fall into my culling category, as with all fish being offered, the defects are not presumed genetic at this time, and the main reason for offering these fish is to broaden the size of the F1 population going forward (ensuring genetic stability where possible)."
