Vintage Reproduction 1930s Deco Cotton Feedsack Blue Abstract Floral Cotton Dress M

Summer Dress - "Petite Robe d'Ete" – adapted from a pattern issued free with French magazine "La Mode Pratique", April 3rd. 1937. Made from vintage feedsack inspired 100% cotton fabric which has a stylised water-lily pattern of abstract blue & yellow flowers on white leaves on a blue background.

This simple dress has an unusual panelled construction with a square neckline, two large decorative vintage buttons, attached tie belt at the waist, and pleated inserts at the skirt front. The dress slips over the head, and fastens at the side with a row of concealed poppers; the waist can be pulled in with the belt.

Size: Suggested Medium, UK 12 - 14
All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate (with approx. metric equivalent):
Bust- armpit to armpit: 19” (48.3cm)
Waist: 18" (45.7cm) (The waist can be pulled in with the belt)
Hips: 20" (50.8cm)
Sleeve opening at cuff: 6 3/4” (17.2cm)
Length nape to hem: 44 1/2” (113cm)

 

Condition:

New and unworn. The dress has been washed at 40 degrees C, minimum spin. Hand wash or delicate machine wash suggested.
