This is a stunning antique 19th century Victorian solid cast iron table pivoting mirror. it is a large mirror that is extremely ornate, made from thick heavy cast iron, and has a lovely gold gilded finish. the mirror is in an oval format and pivots 180 degrees on two ribbed iron arms in the back connected to the base. the mirror has a detailed engraved trim, the frame is extremely detailed with floral and scroll detailing done in high relief. the base is nicely footed and is equally as ornate as the rest of the piece if not more. it has a beautiful cut out design and tapers from thin to wider. it is in great shape with a nice patina from age measuring 17 3/8 inches tall by 10 3/4 inches wide.
