eBay
I bought this MiniDisc player/recorder new in 2011 directly from Amazon UK, and it has been sitting unopened in its box until a couple of weeks ago. I imagine this would be from the very end of the MZ-RH1 production run.

If you are interested in this model, then you probably already know that it is capable of transferring your existing MiniDisc collection back to your computer at full PCM 1411kbps, which is exactly what I bought it for. So a couple of weeks ago, I carefully used it over a period of 7 days to transfer my MiniDisc collection to my computer. The process is very straightforward and worked flawlessly.

The player, accessories and packing are in immaculate condition. If I didn't tell you I had used it, you probably wouldn't realise! Everything is exactly as when I first opened the box.
Many of the accessories are still sealed. I constantly kept in mind that I would be reselling the player, and it even still has the protective film on its display as you can see in the photos. It is very rare to find this player in a condition as good as this.

All original box contents included:
- Sony MZ-RH1 Hi-MD Walkman MiniDisc player/recorder
- optical cable *
- USB cable with spare ferrite beads *
- power adapter/cable (both UK and EU plugs supplied) *
- earphones and optional inline remote control *
- lithium-ion rechargeable battery in plastic case
- carrying pouch *
- software/driver CD
- printed user guides (English, French, German, Spanish, Dutch, Italian)

The accessories marked with an asterisk above are still sealed/unused.
The box itself has a few scuff marks on the underside from storage at Sony/Amazon, which you can also see in the photos - that's how I received it.

Some notes:
- I am a private individual selling a secondhand item. As such, I cannot accept returns. Please only buy this if you are sure of what you are buying.
- I will only post this item by registered post, or if you happen to be in Dublin, then collection in person is also possible.
- If you are outside the European Union, then there is a possibility that your local postal service / customs office / tax office will impose import duty / tax charges. If that's the case, then you agree that these charges are
your liability, not mine.
- My MiniDiscs were all recorded in SP mode, not LP mode. Additionally, I never used any Hi-MD discs. The transfer process worked flawlessly for me, and I see no reason why it shouldn't work for all MiniDisc formats, but naturally I cannot vouch for formats that I didn't use.
- The following applies to Microsoft Windows. (I have no idea about Mac, so Mac users will have to investigate this themselves.) You need to install a driver on your computer for the computer to be able to communicate with the player. Sony provides a 32-bit driver on the included CD, but if you use a 64-bit operating system, this may be incompatible. There is an unofficial 64-bit driver available at the following link - it should work, but it's not endorsed by Sony, so again, I can't vouch for it.
