Both controllers are mounted using expensive Neodymium magnets.  The magnets have a pull force of 18lbs.  Please see video below for demonstration of how easily the controllers are removed and remounted. 

The system also includes one mounting adapter with picatinny rails for a foregrip or a bipod.  It also includes a sling adapter.
