Kellogg's THUNDERBIRDS Cereal Box.

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FULLY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT.

Please study the photographs as they are of the item for sale and form part of the description.

I have had this item for over 15 years.

It is definitely NOT a modern repro.

Everything about this appears right.

It is printed on the correct type of milled card.

It looks to be machine cut.

The creases are crimped ready for folding.

It has always been flat - never assembled.

The niggle is that it is dot printed - noticeable on the text.

I got this from someone who got this directly from Kellogg's.

Apparently back in the day you could write and ask them for boxes/artwork and they would oblige......

So it is from Kellogg's . I'm not sure if it is "original".

Whatever. It is a design not currently available from the repro merchants on here.

Postage at cost.

From a pet & smoke free environment.

Thanks for looking.

PLEASE NOTE

To avoid any confusion.
In my opinion, this is not a sixties box that contained Sugar Smacks as contents.
It has never been assembled as a box.

The industry standard printing for boxes at the time was, I believe, offset (CYMK) printing. Hence the test lines on the bottom flap.
This item is NOT printed in that manner.

I was told it was obtained directly from Kellogg's in the late 80s in response to a request for a copy of the artwork.
I only have the original owner's word for that.
