This certainly is the most unique phonograph we've ever come across. Similar in form and style to a Victrola VV-260, this is entirely clad in brass, including the horn and phonograph tone arm and mechanism. The back story is that this was originally made in the 1920's on custom order for a brass manufacturing tycoon located in Chicago. It has been lovingly (and expensively) polished and lacquered. Certainly, you may never see another example such as this! Measures 34" wide x 20" deep x 33" high (with lid closed). Works great. This is a true collector's item. Phonograph turntables, reproducers and tone arms will most always be removed. The motors will be supported inside the cases with Styrofoam. Governors will be blocked to prevent movement. 2. New, first-class packaging materials will be used, with great care taken to prevent damage to exterior finishes and metal surfaces. We will try to make removing the packing easy and trouble-free for you. 3. New, heavy-duty, double-walled cartons will be used. Then, whenever possible, this will be placed in yet another, larger carton, with cushioned packing in between. 4. Large horns will always be packed and shipped separately from the main unit. The best “insurance” is first-class, knowledgeable packing. You can be assured that we will do that for you.
