Mid 20th Century Chinese wedding basket quite rare good condition. Please see pictures and read the full description.

The Basket is weaved and painted over with lacquer and decorated with gold and red with symbols to represent happiness, wealth and prosperity. Each tier bears initials ZZ

The 3 tiers measure APPROX 23 inches in height and 13 inches wide.

The basket separates from the 2 bottom tiers and, on it's own, is APPROX 16 inches in height.

This Lovely Chinese basket has some wear from presumed use; I have taken pictures to show the condition.

PLEASE NOTE: The bottom tier has been knocked. Please see pictures 9,10 & 11 which show this tier.

Other than this, I can see no other notable damage, just use.

These baskets are now popular as decorative art and I have appreciated it's beauty and workmanship.

HOWEVER, my mum has moved in with me and I am now short of space. She is only little but has 89 years of accrued items!
