eBay
Hello there , here is my Datsun 260 z 2+2 roadster . I have owned it for over 5 years . It is 32 years old , is in 'Datsun Yellow' , and has 48,000 miles on the clock . I understand i am the 4th owner of this lovely car , ( one previous owner was a priest ,or vicar , believe it or not ). Anyhow , she is up for sale . It is mot'd until 25 - november -2011 , and taxed until the 31st of may 2011. I can't say anything about before i owned it , but whilst i have had her , she has been kept in a garage , I'm guessing beforehand it was garaged because the bodywork is suprisingly excellent . I say suprisingly because most of these cars have not withstood the elements , and have rotted away sadly . However this one has , and whilst not in 'showroom condition' , ( there are a couple of bubbles , on the sill , and 1 on the bonnet , - bubbles though thats all , not rust , there is a picture of them ) , I would put this in the very good condition catergory . Recently i have had some work done on it to bring it up to scratch . This would include , a new master and slave cylinder , 2 rear wheel cylinders , a set of rear brake shoes , a set of front disc pads , new brake fluid , a new battery , and only last thursday ( 6th) , new fuel hoses . I also put a new radiator on back in 2005, and a fan belt . I have the receipts for all of this work for anyone to see . There is a slight annoyance , in that the fuel guage doesn't work . I think it is either a fuse or the sender unit in the tank , like i said a slight annoyance thats all. I am using her daily to go to work , so the mileage will be slightly more than the 47,950 currently , but not much , maybe a hundred miles or more . A car very simalar to this ( same colour aswell) was sold on ebay just before christmas for £5000 pounds . It was a year older than mine and had done 90,000 miles , twice as many as mine .Looking around , in books and magazines ,  datsun 260z 's are pretty rare , and as such can command around £2,500 to £3,000 for even quite tatty ones that need some work , right through to £8,000 to £11,000 for ' showroom condition' ones .Now I already concede that mine isn't a showroom condition one , however , it is in very good condition , and could be brought up to that condition for little outlay . For that reason i would value mine at around £4,500 to £5,500 mark . I have set the reserve a little bit lower than this and think its a fair price . Looked after this cars value will go on going up , because they arent many left .
Phew , nearly there , thanks for staying with me for this long , If anyone would like to have a look , please don't hesitate to drop me a line and we can arrange something .I would ask that if you are serious about buying then a deposit of £100 pounds would be required through paypal , by the winning bidder , as a gesture of goodwill please . Then the remainder either by paypal or cash on collection .
Thank you so much if you have made it this far , and thanks for your interest .
All the best.
Forgot to say , i have all the paper work ( mot cert , V5c , and some history ), Also forgot to say the 5 tyres are very expensive ones and are in excellent condition .

This item is Re-listed due to an ee-jit who thinks its amusing to open an account on the day the auction ends , to bid and win the item , and have contact details that are fraudulent . He has affectivley ruined or sabataged an auction for the 99.9% genuine ebayers and totally wasted everyones time.
Because of him/her ? i am so sorry but ive been forced into a few measures. Please don't bid if you :-
                                                                                                                         don't have a paypal account
or have loads of unpaid strikes
or have a negative feedback rating

If any of these conditions apply to you and you are genuine, please email me first before i will accept your bid . I'm sorry about all that , but one 'complete pleb' has ruined it for everyone and forced me into this . I also have now advertised the car elsewhere , so if a deal is struck , i'll have to end the auction early .
On the plus side , i have dropped the reserve price a fair bit .
