...is pleased to introduce an Adorable Miniature Gray Grizzly Bear...

"Uqi"

I'm excited to introduce Uqi to you :o) He is a baby gray grizzly bear who is hoping to find a new mom soon.

When standing, Uqi is 7” tall.

Uqi is a one of a kind (OOAK) artist gray grizzly bear completely designed and handsewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours went into this baby! I am no longer doing special orders and will not be creating another one like him.

Uqi is made from a beautiful and extremely soft faux fur. It is gray with white tips.

Uqi's adorable face is full of detail. His face has been carefully thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. He has soulful glass eyes which I painted in a very dark brown. He also hasmoveable eyelids so he can be posed awake or very sleepy.

I've given him a realistic leather nose and a slightly open mouth with a cute little lower lip – This gives him a sweet look that I just love on real baby bears.

Uqi's lifelike paws are very detailed and took hours to create. His paw pads are leather and have been carefully hand shaded for realism. I sculpted & carved tiny claws for him from epoxy clay and hand painted & sealed them.

Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another gray grizzly bear just like Uqi. I do not have a pattern that I can remake him with.

Uqi is completely handsewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in his tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. He is fully armatured (he easily holds his poses) for lots of fun poses!

Uqi will arrive in a special box with hang tags that include his birth date, a picture of him and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. He is a collectable baby bear cub made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts.
