The following new, unused, cast iron, Lion Speed Head III is blemished in some way. Each head is

electrostaticly painted with black enamel. Each are believed to be "save-able",

but absolutely no warranty or guarantee is made . . . PERIOD.

Fixes range from filling with epoxy filler, grinding, to welding/brazing or just leave alone and go.

#6 This HEAD casting flaw was ground down for inspection. It sounds tight when tapped,

but the depth and seriousness can not be seen.

Chances are that during casting a "gas bubble" was under this flaw

and it might have made the upper surface area thin-walled. The cylinder side is not affected.

Welding/brazing/epoxy may seal it.

Worst case a small iron cover seal may need to be made up and welded in or over. . . But I would do a pressure test first.
