You are bidding on a rare jaw to a species (over 22 species)of the armor plated Boney Fish Placoderm  Arthrodires Dunkleosteus from Cuyahoga County Ohio. This is from an older private collection (Sa Dofsky Collection). This is a jaw with the tooth being part of the jaw. These were mean looking creatures from the Devonian period that reached lengths of over 15 feet. The jaw is approximately 7 1/4 inches long. I have been into fossils over 30 years and also had this piece verified by a paleontologist friend of mine. Please email any  questions before bidding.
