Delivery & Returns

Delivery of car audio products will normally be made within 3 working days from clearance of payment, unless you have paid for expedited service. Expedited service is next working day, if orders are paid for Mon-Fri by 2pm. We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated on eBay but delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers have any issues with despatch, we will notify you of this position immediately. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the goods.

Please note: Unless otherwise indicated, delivery to the Non-UK mainland postcodes will incur an additional surcharge of +£10. This includes the following areas: Jersey, Guernsey, Isle Of Man, Isle Of Wight, N. Ireland, Shetlands. Please add £10 to your paypal payment to avoid shipping delays. 

Please note that all orders will have to be checked on delivery. If there are any visible signs of damage this must be advised to us immediately via email or phone and/or on your delivery note from the courier. An item will only be considered lost once investigated and accepted by the courier or royal mail as missing. This in some cases can take up to 14 days to investigate. Any lost item will be replaced or refunded in full.

If a parcel is returned undelivered due a wrong/incomplete address being provided or you are not available to accept or collect the delivery, you will be held responsible for the full cost of returning the parcel to us. In this case such charges will be deducted from any refund or charged to you directly.

Any information found on the Car Audio Direct eBay site is intended for guidance only. Due to the varied nature of vehicle manufacturers car production and model year breaks we cannot 100% guarantee compatibility with your vehicle. You are advised to check the vehicles audio installation, wiring or fitments prior to placing an order to ensure suitability.

However, if the part you order is later discovered to be incorrect for your particular vehicle you can always use our efficient online returns system (within 14 days) and we will gladly exchange for an alternative if required.

Do not book an installer or other trades-person until your goods have arrived and been checked. We are not liable for any work costs you may incur.

Our return policy is as follows:

1. Standard 14 day return policy: if you do not like / are not satisfied with an item within 14 days of receiving it, you can return the item for a refund or an exchange providing it is in a perfect and resalable condition. You are liable for all return carriage costs in relation to returns / cancellations. The product must be returned in the condition it was received. We reserve the right to refuse returned items or deduct a 15% restocking fee if they have evidence of installation, user abuse or are not in a resalable condition when returned.

2. Manufacturer's warranty: Beyond this 14 day period, you are covered under the manufacturer's warranty which is typically 1 year. If your product becomes faulty during this period, you should contact our eSupport 'Help Desk', via the eBay contact system. We will then arrange for your item to be repaired or replaced with a new product or provide details of the manufacturers local service centre.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL RETURNS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A VALID RETURNS NUMBER

Any items are returned at your own risk. We strongly advise you to take care when returning items to us for example, by ensuring the goods are correctly addressed & adequately packaged. Items that arrive back damaged or destroyed as a result of poor packaging will not be accepted. These items will be resent to the customer at the customer's expense.
