I'm thrilled to introduce Lacy ~ an adorable little Persian kitten!  I've started her auction earlier than usual due to requests from collectors in different time zones.  If you have any questions, please be aware that her auction ends just as I'm waking up.

Lacy is a one of a kind artist Persian kitten completely designed and hand sewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. She is very detailed and as such she is her own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours went into this creation!

Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another Persian kitten just like Lacy. I do not work with patterns - just from photos and drawings, so there is no pattern she can be remade from.

Lacy is a petite little kitten ~ 4” tall when standing on all fours.

Lacy is made from recycled ermine fur (just like mink, but slightly shorter) from a vintage coat. It is white with sprinklings of black guard hairs which give her unique markings.

I crocheted a little bow-tie blankie for Lacy to snuggle in... it is included in her auction.  I couldn't capture the actual color of it with my camera... it is a much softer bluish red.

Lacy's adorable face is full of detail and took so many hours to create! Her face has been thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. She has gorgeous eyes ~ I hand painted them to give her a large pupil and a iridescent blue iris with a gold rim. She also has eyelids that can be posed open, closed or in between.

Lacy has a realistic leather nose which I hand made and shaded. She has horse hair whiskers – both black ones and white ones.

Lacy's suede paws are thread sculpted and hand shaded. I individually hand sculpted and carved epoxy clay claws for her which have been sealed.

Lacy is completely hand sewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in her tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. I have loosely stuffed her body so that she is easier to pose. She is fully armatured (including her tail) for lots of fun poses!

She is a collectable Persian kitten made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts. Any props I may use in the photos are not included in the auction unless otherwise stated.
