I'm so pleased to introduce my newest recycled rabbit fur bear.... a panda cub named Bao Tang! His name means “Baby Sugar”.  I'm so happy with how he turned out and I hope you enjoy seeing him!

Bao Tang is a one of a kind artist Panda bear cub completely designed and hand sewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours of love and effort went into this creation!

Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another panda bear cub just like Bao Tang . I do not work with patterns - just from photos and drawings, so there is no pattern he can be remade from.

Bao Tang is 11 inches tall.

Bao Tang is made from super soft and luxurious recycled white and black rabbit fur.

Bao Tang 's adorable face is full of detail! His face has been thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. He has soulful hand painted glass eyes with wired eyelids that can be posed open, closed, and anywhere in between.

I've given him an open mouth that can be posed for more expressions. I hand sculpted his little teeth with epoxy clay. They have been shaded and sealed.

Bao Tang has an epoxy clay nose that I hand sculpted free form (no molds), painted and sealed.

Bao Tang has leather paw pads and his paws are thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. I hand sculpted, carved, shaded and sealed epoxy clay claws for him.

Bao Tang is completely hand sewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in his tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. He is fully armatured for lots of fun poses!

Bao Tang will arrive in a special box with hang tags that include his birth date, a picture of him and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. He is a collectable Panda bear cub made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts. Any props I may use in the photos are not included in the auction unless otherwise stated.
