EM200 Temma II mount from Takahashi.

This mount is approx. 10 years old and was purchased new from True Technology. Electronically and mechanically it is in perfect working order.  Cosmetically, there are some paint chips, the worst of which you can see in the pictures.  Also, the Tak counterweight is very marked, again as can be seen in the picture.  The other counterweight is from Robin Casady and is stainless steel, so in good condition.  I do have another Tak counterweight, the same as the one pictured, but it is VERY rusty.  The purchaser is however welcome to it if desired.

Tracking is first-rate - I had a number of images published as "Picture of the Month" in "Astronomy Now" magazine which were taken with this mount!

My reason for selling is that I am not currently active in astrophotography and the mount has sat idle for several years.

Included is the Tak hand-controller (pictured), a DC 12V power lead, a connector for the RS-232 interface and the Pegasus software. The mount interfaces very well to The Sky for example via the RS-232 interface.  A polar alignment scope is built into the mount.

The mount is pictured fixed to aluminium plates but this is just for the photographs and the plates are not included.  It was fixed to a concrete pier when I used it, so there is no tripod included.

For reasons of weight I can only offer this item for buyer collection, as I have nothing strong enough to pack the mount in to for carriage!  The item is located in East Northamptonshire.
