"Bao Rou He"

It seems like forever since I created a tiny mink panda, so I'm extra excited to introduce my newest baby to you! He is such a sweetie! His name means "Baby Gentle Soft". He is 4.5 inches long.

Bao Rou He is a one of a kind artist panda bear cub completely designed and hand sewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours of love and effort went into this creation!

Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another panda bear cub just like Bao Rou He. I do not work with patterns - just from photos and drawings, so there is no pattern he can be remade from.

I've taken lots of photos of Bao Rou He and I hope you enjoy seeing them all!

Bao Rou He is made from very soft white mink and black mink – both recycled from vintage coats.

Bao Rou He's adorable face is full of detail! His face has been thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. He has soulful black glass eyes with top eyelids that can be posed open or closed.

Bao Rou He also has a realistic leather nose which I hand made.

Bao Rou He's little leather paws were very time consuming. I scissor sculpted and thread sculpted them. I also hand sculpted claws for him out of epoxy clay and sealed them.

Bao Rou He is completely hand sewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in his tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. He is fully armatured for lots of fun poses!

He is a collectable panda bear cub made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts. Any props are not included in the auction unless otherwise stated.
