Since their inception in 1983 The Waterboys have been on a musical journey from Rock, Folk and Country to Gospel, Blues and Traditional Irish music, the band are an eclectic mix of talent. The wide success of ‘This is the Sea’ in 1985 cemented a loyal following and to this day ‘The Whole of the Moon’ along with other hits from the album, can be heard regularly on BBC6 music.

The Waterboys are Small Steps Project Donors, who have kindly donated shoes to raise funds for children living on rubbish dumps around the world.
