These shoes belong to Eleanor Kate "Elly" Jackson from La Roux, a former synthpop duo which is now a solo project. Elly is an English singer, songwriter and is well known for her unique, androgynous style. La Roux’s 2009 debut album gained huge commercial success with the hit singles ‘In for the Kill’ and ‘Bulletproof’. The album was nominated for the 2009 Mercury Prize, and won Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

La Roux is a Small Steps Project Donor, who has kindly donated shoes to raise funds for children living on rubbish dumps around the world.
