I'm so happy to introduce my newest baby to you - a sweet grizzly cub named Bisde'y (Bis-day'-ee). His name means “grouse” in the local First Nation's language – his mom named him that because of his coloring is similar to that of a grouse. Bisde'y is 9 inches long.

My usual price for a bear this size with this much detail is $1800, but I am offering this sweetie with a starting price of $300 and no reserve!

Bisde'y is a one of a kind artist grizzly bear cub completely designed and hand sewn (no machine sewing) by me, Melisa Nichols. He is very detailed and as such he is his own unique individual and can not be duplicated ~ a true one of a kind. Many, many hours of love and effort went into this creation!

Because of all this detailed work, I will never be able to create another grizzly bear cub just like Bisde'y. I do not work with patterns - just from photos and drawings, so there is no pattern he can be remade from.

I've taken lots of photos of Bisde'y and I hope you enjoy seeing them all!

Bisde'y is made from very soft white recycled rabbit fur that I hand colored to give him his realistic shading.

Bisde'y's adorable face is full of detail! His face has been thread sculpted, scissor sculpted and hand shaded. He has soulful black glass eyes with eyelids that can be posed open or almost closed.

Bisde'y has a realistic epoxy clay nose which I hand made. He also has an poseable leather mouth with epoxy clay teeth that I hand sculpted and sealed.

Bisde'y's little leather paws were very time consuming. I scissor sculpted and thread sculpted them. I also hand sculpted claws for him out of epoxy clay and sealed them.

Bisde'y is completely hand sewn and filled with polyfil, pellets (in his tummy), and an extra portion of cuddles. He is fully armatured for lots of fun poses!

Bisde'y will arrive in a special box with hang tags that include his birth date, a picture of him and a signed Certificate of Authenticity. He is a collectable grizzly bear cub made for display only - not suitable for children due to small parts. Any props are not included in the auction unless otherwise stated.
