The SD2IEC allows you to use an SD card as the storage medium (PRG files, D64, CRT, etc.) for the Commodore C64 . SD2IEC is seen as a disk drive number selected in the range of 8 to 11
After recording to SD card (formatted as FAT16) file or D64 service PRG recorded files is convenient to carry on using the browser CBM File Browser. PRG same loading files from the memory card takes place on a similar basis as the floppy disk drive.
D64 disk images are viewed as a real disk in 1541.

Commodore will load data from the memory card very quickly, especially when using the TURBO loader present in solutions such as JiffyDOS or Final3.
